Ties between Iran and Kazakhstan are deeply rooted and the two nationsˈ culture is very close, he said.
Jalili made the remarks in a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart on Thursday.
Highlighting the significant roles of both countries in regional and global developments, Jalili said grounds are well prepared for expansion of political, economic and security cooperation between the two sides.
To bolster mutual relations and cooperation, the two sides should consider their mutual interests and threats, he said.
The Kazakh official, for his part, wished success for the Iranian negotiating team and the Iranian people and underlined that Iran and Kazakhstan share close views on global issues. He also called for broadening of all-out relations between the two countries.
The second round of talks between Iran and G5+1 is to begin in Almaty, Kazakhstan Friday morning.
